The PNG Group has put together a comprehensive collection
of tools designed
to help make the implementation of the PNG format a relatively easy task.
Included is the PNG Specification, PNG Library (libpng API), Compression
Library (zlib), and a test suite of PNG images. These tools are provided
without cost and can be used freely in commercial and non-commercial
products*.
